Tubular Belles chairs

Designed in 1926 by Mart Stam, the S34 cantilever chair is one of the most influential – and most copied – furniture designs of the 20th century. We transformed this replica frame into our own joyful and colorful homage to the original.

We reconditioned the chrome so it shines like new, then created a new seat, back-rest and arm-rests using a custom Ulloo42 fabric. The bold pattern is adapted from one of Suzanne Currie’s original collage artworks and printed on robust cotton canvas.

This one-of-a-kind design is sold as a PAIR.
