Tangerine Split Table

When we found this vintage table it was in a sorry state. But we recognised (and love) the shape, and after a bit of research, believe that it’s an original example of Eero Saarinen’s Pedestal Table – designed in 1957 and produced by Knoll.

The design has become a modernist icon for very good reason.

We refurbished the cast aluminium base, gave it a coat of golden-mustard paint and transformed the top with glossy hand-poured resin that we had hand-mixed to a vivid orange hue.
