Surfboard coffee table – ‘Desert Sunrise’

A one-of-a-kind functional art piece. Our basic Surfboard coffee table shape is transformed by an original collage artwork that Suzanne Currie has created directly on the painted table surface. Using hand-cut magazine paper to form the shapes and colors, the palette is inspired by the dawn sky in one of our favorite places, Palm Springs.

The collage work is preserved beneath layers of hand-mixed translucent resin with a semi-matte finish – a highly resistant material that will last almost indefinitely. We powder-cioated the metal hairpin legs to create a vivid pop of complementary color.
