You want monochrome but hate monotony? This chaise longue was a diamond in the rough when we found it – the diamond part being its wonderful geometry, the rough part being, well…everything else about it. Only a dramatic transformation would do.

We turned an 8-inch square collage artwork by Suzanne Currie into a boldly over-scaled fabric pattern that we printed on cotton canvas, and we painted the legs the darkest, richest shade of teal blue that we could find, topped with a gleaming coat of varnish.

And now? The mood is Mod.
