Miss Tuffet Stool

Perfect for a little girl’s room, this funny little piece begged for a nursery-rhyme makeover.

With its shape reminiscent of Miss Muffet’s tuffet (whatever that actually was), we hand-dyed cotton twill fabric in four different pastel colors for the upholstery, giving her a ruffle-edged ‘hat’ and a pair of button eyes for extra character. To complete the look we hand-painted the wooden legs, as well as the little ring of petals that tops each of the castors.
