Ernie the Urn Lamp

In decorating, classical forms quickly become clichés – and the Greek(ish) urn surely is one.

But not after we’ve been to work on it.

Because the base is metal (rather than the ubiquitous ceramic) we thought this one deserved special attention. So we got out our brushes and painted it bright apple-green. Then we hand-wove sisal twine to form the shade, and added one of our signature hand-wrapped cords as a final flourish.
