Cape Town Rock Stools

These stools have morphed from faux-rococo origins to totally rocking new style!

We sourced the fabric from Cape Town, South Africa and we love its street art vibe – weaving stories among the images. We cut out more images from the leftover fabric scraps and appliquéed them onto the seat covers to create another layer of stories. Then we hand-painted the legs in matching/clashing colors and added hand-painted metal nail heads for a final flourish.
