You want a functional small table but you don’t want it to be boring? This is our answer.

We loved the proportions and clean-lined shape of the original (but not the dull color) so we gave it a total makeover – hand-painting the wood in kingfisher blue and adding a candy-pink top for contrast. The top is glossy hand-poured resin so it will resist almost anything you do to it… (no scratches, no rings from drink glasses). That’s what we call beauty-plus-brawn.

The low-slung proportions work equally well as a side table or a coffee table.
