Audreys Hat Standard Lamp

Pencil-slim and oh so stylish, combining radiant beauty with wit and charm….that was Audrey Hepburn. And as this slim and stylish lamp took shape, it became an homage to her.

We salvaged a boring wooden base, stripped it back and painted it pastel pink. For the ‘hat’ we recycled an old lamp shade frame, hand-weaving and knotting specially dyed sisal string (every step done by hand, as always). Finally, for contrast, we added one of our signature hand-wrapped cords, to make a feature of the part that you normally want to hide.
