Ulloo 42 takes style a step further, making our products unique by reviving traditional crafts and reimagining existing furniture and lighting to create functional pieces of art as well as creating limited collections of accessories.
Sometimes deconstructing classics and expertly putting them back together, in the process creating a modern reconceptualization of the original. Other times the same spirit of creativity and reinvention are directed into the construction of a fun and inventive limited edition line of original accessories that incorporate a multitude of texture and an array of colour.
The craftsmanship of Ulloo 42 lifts the creation of transformation onto the level of daring and bold luxury. These are objects of desire that express the intent of the creator, the hand of the maker and the personality of the owner.
Ulloo 42 is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the US.
We recognize the commitment to supplier diversity that is embraced by corporations and government agencies today, and we can add diversity to your supply chain.
Suzanne is also from England, but spent many memorable years in Africa, which has been a continual source of inspiration for her art and design work. She has specialized as a figurative painter throughout her career and is very versatile. Approximately 8 years ago, she began playing with collage art and has since perfected the craft. You will see Suzanne Currie's Original Collage Print or " SC Print" on many of our wall art, fabrics, furniture, wallpaper, and accessories. Currie has created hundreds of original, one-of-a-kind pieces and continues to enjoy it’s unlimited, colorful potential.
The refreshing personality of her designs are now expanding its horizons with jewel-like collage-art earrings, coasters, and place settings. These pieces will excite those new to the brand in addition to giving more choice to existing followers of the company's visionary designs.
Born in New York to English and Danish Parents, Lise spent her early years in America, Denmark and Britain. Following finishing school in Switzerland, she made homes in the Seychelles, the South of France and after her marriage, in California. Working buying, renovating and reselling properties, Lise brought her eclectic, yet uncluttered and elegant, Danish sense of style to her projects. Lise’s many business ventures have included projects in the music industry, movie investment and artistic sponsorship. When through friends she met Suzanne Currie an English figurative painter also working in fabric and wallpaper design, their friendship and mutual vision of chic, colorful, upbeat living, sparked the collaboration and design partnership which has become Ulloo 42.
